Stroke of Genius: Episode 1
A million thank you’s, digital high-fives and bro-fists to those who came out to our little experiment known as Stroke of Genius. The night was a true delight, and while I was slightly scared senseless, I was mostly psyched that so many of you trusted us with a Friday evening. I know those are hard to come by, and it means the world that you shared it with me! Zack could care less, though. In fact, he was totally talking shit about you, like three seconds ago! You just missed it. What a dick.
I want to also thank everyone who sent in logos for project. I have a video of us going through the entries, but I haven’t had a chance to slice it up for the blog. We did declare a winning-weiner, however, so a super-special-thank-you-congrats goes to Matt Olson. He quickly churned out various logos and title cards for us and they were totally hip, and with it. Check him out on Facebook, if you’re so inclined.
While the “thank you train” is still chugging along, I want to thank April O’Neil (great guest, and face-painter), BSGPR (for the prizes), Sean Jordan (for transcending awesome), Brian Redban (for filming the madness), Phil VanSpronsen (for that thing he did) and Beau Ryan of RadNerd.com. But wait? What did the RadNerd do? Oh, he took sweet-ass stills from the event with his soul-stealing cannon of a camera. And GUEST WHAT? There’s already a gallery up! Careful, some photos might be not safe for anything, let-alone work.
Hiyah! That’s some internet karate right there.
We learned so much our first show out, and I’m already spinning a few wheels on the next one. I hope to get video of the insanity edited and online for everyone soon, but there are a handful of questions that need to be asked and answered before that can happen. Answered by someone who likely wears a suite, but definitely knows the law better than I.
